The Notorious B.I.G. debuterade 1994 med "Ready to Die" och földe upp med det postuma "Life After Death" (1997) – båda räknas som höjdpunkter inom hip-hop någonsin. Han sjöts tragiskt ihjäl den 9 mars 1997 i Los Angeles, 24 år gammal, men hans arv lever vidare som ett av musikhistoriens största.
